MONTANA'S TOURISM FUNDING
This section provides information about how Montana’s tourism promotion and marketing is funded and includes a breakdown of the disbursement of lodging tax revenue, the distribution of Montana Office of Tourism funds and a map showing where our “bed tax” grants have been allocated to-date.

LODGING FACILITY USE TAX LAW
This law specifies that approximately 25 percent of the Lodging Facility Use Tax proceeds that go to the Department of Commerce be returned on a pro-rated basis to six tourism regions and eleven qualifying cities for their promotion as travel destinations or movie filming locations.
